Washington: Days after Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump vowed to jail his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton over her email controversy, it has emerged that one of his supporters have threatened to assassinate Clinton if she wins elections.

"You ought to be ashamed of yourself," Trump said to Clinton during a town-hall debate. Clinton said it was good that Trump was not in the White House given his temperament, leading him to reply: "Because you would be in jail."
While Trump continued to take a dig at Clinton, one of his supporters from Cincinnati went a bit too far when he said that he would kill Clinton if she won the White House.
"I feel like Hillary needs to be taken out if she gets in the government," Dan Bownman was quoted as saying in the Independent.
"I’ll do everything in my power to take her out of power – which, if I have to be a patriot, I will," he added.
"If she’s in office, I hope we can start a coup. She should be in prison or shot. That’s how I feel about it,” he said. “We’re going to have a revolution and take them out of office if that’s what it takes. There’s going to be a lot of bloodshed. But that’s what it’s going to take... I would do whatever I can for my country," he further said.
However, Trump campaign maintained a distance from any violent threats made by their supporters. " We reject violence in any form and will not allow it to be a part of our campaign ," the campaign said in a statement....
