New York: A video of President-elect Donald Trump’s granddaughter Arabella Kushner — Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner’s daughter — reciting Chinese poetry has gone viral in China. In the video, Arabella, 5, is seen wearing a red Chinese style ball gown and reciting lines from classical Tang dynasty poems in Mandarin. Ivanka posted the video in her Instagram account around the Lunar New Year, the CNBC reported.
The five-year-old’s performance had endeared her to many on the Chinese micro-blogging site Weibo. “I particularly dislike Trump but his children and grandchildren are all quite cute,” a Weibo user posted. “A new generation of Sino-U.S. friendship ambassador,” wrote another. “The little girl’s language skill is a result of Ivanka’s education, nothing to do with Trump himself,” said user @Jason_ZFQ.
