Video: US woman runs over boyfriend after finding out he's HIV positive

Although the victim survived the attack, he was left with a fractured vertebra and severe head injury.

Phoenix, Arizona: In a shocking incident, a woman in the US state of Arizona rammed her red Ford Mustang car into her boyfriend after allegedly finding out that he is HIV positive.

The accused identified as Misty Lee Wilke, 43, rammed into her boyfriend while he was riding a bike at a park. As the car hit him, the victim was left flying over the car's hood, thus landing on the pavement of the road with severe injuries.

Although the victim survived the attack, he was left with a fractured vertebra and severe head injury.

Soon after the incident, Wilke was arrested on charges of attempt to murder. In her statement to the police, Wilke said that before the hit-and-run incident, she got into an argument with her boyfriend when he told her that he is HIV positive.

According to Fox News, Wilke told police that her boyfriend was laughing when he told her about the infection and even attacked her with a pocket knife.

Wilke faces two counts of aggravated assault.
