Gustavia: In an attempt to capture a picture perfect moment, a man was on the verge of dying, when a plane had almost hit him. The plane, which was about to land at St. Barts' Gustaf III airport, was a few inches away from the tourist’s head. The video of this escapade has gone viral on social media platforms.
According to a report in The Daily Mail, the inadvertent incident was captured by a 46-year-old man, who was trying his hand at a new 360-degree camera. “The man felt the wheel of the aircraft touching his right hand. He has shown me the little traces. I found him shouting that the plane had touched his hands,” as quoted in the report.
Gustaf III airport is known for tricky landings. As the runaway is located between a hill and a beach, pilots have to pass over a busy road during landing.
