Humans of New York shares scathing criticism on Trump
Washington: Lashing out at the American presidential candidate, Donald Trump for his hate fuelled and vicious poll campaign, Brandon Stanton, founder of the Facebook page Humans of New York has written an open letter to the Republican candidate.
Calling out that he was the victim of the hate and anger that he fanned, the 32-year-old photojournalist said, “You are a man who has encouraged prejudice and violence in the pursuit of personal power. And though your words will no doubt change over the next few months, you will always remain who you are.”
Stanton, who is the man behind widely followed Humans of New York, also said, “Over the last two years I have conducted extensive interviews with hundreds of Muslims, chosen at random, on the streets of Iran, Iraq, and Pakistan. I’ve also interviewed hundreds of Syrian and Iraqi refugees across seven different countries. And I can confirm, the hateful one is you.”
"Opposing you is no longer a political decision. It is a moral one," he added.
Donald Trump’s campaign team has not yet responded to the post. In the past, the Trump camp has launched vicious attacks on its detractors including media and journalists.
Celebrities such as Will smith, Johnny Depp, R&B singer John Legend, have also hit out against Trump.
