'Trump made women walk on table to see if they wore underwear': reports
New York: Making matters worse for Republican nominee for President Donald Trump, another woman has come forward with shocking claims of sexual misconduct.
Lisa Boyne, CEO of health food enterprise, made the new claims in a Huffington Post report on Thursday, where she said that Trump made women parade on top of a table, when they were attending a dinner together, and commented on their innerwear, or the lack of it thereof.
Boyne said that she was invited to a dinner by her socialite friend Sonja Morgan, which was also attended by Donald Trump and infamous modelling agent John Casablancas.
The incident reportedly happened in 1996, Boyne said and added that Trump and Morgan picked her up from her apartment in Manhatten for the dinner.
“(During the journey) he was constantly talking about himself, who he was dating, who he was sleeping with, who he was trying to sleep with. I just remember feeling very surprised and upset,” she said.
But the night got from bad to worse for Boyne, when Cassablancas joined them with his small entourage of models.
Boyne recounted that the party was seated in a semicircular table, with the women seated in the middle, while Trump and Cassablancas sat on either end of the table.
“The women couldn’t get out of their seats without one of the men getting up ― which they refused to do. Instead Trump insisted that the women walk across the table, allowing him to peer up their skirts while they did so. He stuck his head right underneath their skirts,” Boyne said. She added that he commented on whether they were wearing underwear and what their genitalia looked like.
But she adds that Trump was never interested in her as she was not a model and that he was more interested in her opinion of ‘whom he should sleep with.’
She eventually left the dinner table after calling her roommate, claiming that she was ill.
But Sonja Morgan, on who’s invitation Boyne attended the dinner, said that she never recounted such an incident, although, she did confirm that Boyne did attend the dinner and that Trump and Cassablancas were present too.
“I don’t remember any of that kind of behaviour. But I have been known to dance on tables,” Morgan said.
Boyne’s roommate meanwhile said that she never heard from Boyne that night and added that she was a publicity seeker. However, she confirmed that the dinner did take place.
When asked about the timing of her revelation, Boyne claimed that she felt compelled to share her experience with Trump after his alleged misconduct came to light.
