The wife of actor George Clooney said ISIS’ brutality was shocking but so was the “passive” response by the world's nations to the campaign to investigate its crimes and bring the perpetrators to justice.
But a tweet by TIME has sparked outrage. The publication tweeted a photo of Amal Clooney with George Clooney with the caption “Amal Clooney shows off her baby bump at the United Nations.” Twitterati were outraged by this.
“Shame in you, Time Magazine. You have no idea what #AmalClooney said? Is it about the baby breeding job of women?” one user tweeted. Another wrote: “We just celebrated International Women’s Day. This is not the headline, how about pretending she is a person doing important stuff?”
