Sacked Steve Bannon threatens to quit his job

President Donald Trump’s chief strategist, Steve Bannon, threatened to quit his job over his removal from the principals committee of the National Security Council (NSC), the New York Times reported, citing an unnamed White House official.

But Bannon’s camp denied that he had threatened to resign and spent Thursday spreading the word that the shift in roles was a natural evolution — not a signal of diminishing influence.
