Trump wants his female staff to dress like women', Twitter shows him how
Washington: US President Donald Trump is in trouble again. The newly-elected President sparked outrage after a media report said that Trump liked his female staffers ‘to dress like women.’
According to a report in Axios, the POTUS is very particular about his sartorial choices and of his employees as well. The President, who has been described as ‘visual’ guy, was even obsessed about candidates ‘looking the part’ when he picked his cabinet nominees.
"If you're going to be a public person for him, whether it's a lawyer or representing him in meetings, then you need to have a certain look,” a source was quoted as saying.
Also, the women who campaigned door-to-door for the President felt the need to wear dresses to impress the Republican leader.
While the report said that Trump judged both men and women based on their appearance, his comment sparked a furore on Twitter. The #DressLikeAWoman started trending on the micro-blogging site with Twiteratti giving their view on how to ‘dress like a woman’.
Nevertheless, Trump is known to be finicky about his appearance; which is not surprising, considering Trump had previously owned or co-owned three beauty pageants -- Miss USA, Miss Teen USA, and Miss Universe.
The POTUS apparently rapped the Press Secretary Sean Spicer for not dressing up for his first public appearance and also allegedly moved a lamp, so that it doesn’t mess up his photographs with British Prime Minister Theresa May.
He was also reported to have been ‘captivated’ by viewing his footage when flying during his campaign.
