Washington: During a rally in Florida Hillary Clinton seemed to be trying to stifle her coughing fits.
The Democratic presidential nominee choked up during a speech and had to pop a cough drop as she was approaching her big finish, the Daily Mail reported.
“We love you, Hillary!” an audience member shouted, giving her time to recompose herself. “Thank you,” Clinton replied.
Even after she unwrapped the throat lozenge and put it in her mouth she had trouble speaking. She coughed once more and cleared her throat three additional times before she fully recovered.
After the speech as she was heading for the exit, Clinton apparently had to reach out for her lead Secret Service agent’s arm and steady herself for a moment before she descended down the steps, the Breitbart News reported. It was the second time this week Clinton lost the struggle to control her voice in public.
