Hillary Clinton's frustration grows, as primary race drags on

She's snapped at a protester from the Greenpeace environmental group.

Syracuse, New York: After a year of campaigning, months of debates and 35 primary elections, Bernie Sanders is finally getting under Hillary Clinton's skin.

She's snapped at a protester from the Greenpeace environmental group. She's linked her Democratic rival's name to that of tea party Republicans.

And she's bristled with anger when nearly two dozen Sanders supporters marched out of an event near her home north of New York City, shouting "if she wins, we lose."

Clinton has spent weeks largely trying to ignore Sanders, focusing instead on Republican front-runner Donald Trump.

Now, after several primary losses and with a tough fight in New York on the horizon, Clinton is showing flashes of frustration with the senator from Vermont. And that irritation could undermine her efforts to unite the party around her candidacy.
