Washington: The New York Post on Sunday republished nude photographs of Melania Trump, wife of US presidential candidate Donald Trump.
According to a report, the New York Post said that the photos were taken during a 1995 modelling session in Manhattan and were published by defunct French men's magazine Max.
Melania was 25 when the photos were taken and was working under the name Melania K when she posed for French photographer Ale de Basseville.

The modeling session took place three years before Melania met Trump at a New York Fashion Week party.
According to the report, Donald Trump was quick to play down the controversy, saying to Efe news that, ‘This was a picture taken for a European magazine prior to my knowing Melania. In Europe, pictures like this are very fashionable and common.’
The former model, who is now 46, and the billionaire real estate developer were married in 2005 at his Mar-a-Lago resort at Palm Beach, Florida.
