Seventeen people were killed and 15 wounded after gunmen armed with assault rifles opened fire at a bar west of Johannesburg, police said.
Gunmen armed with assault rifles killed 17 people and wounded 15 others at a bar west of Johannesburg, police said on Sunday.
"They allegedly searched some patrons and took their cellphones before fleeing the scene in two unidentified motor vehicles," police said, adding that the incident occurred at around 1930 GMT on Saturday.
