Popular spray-deo brand, Axe, has long been known for commercials that reflect a ‘macho’ and even regressive image of its male target audiences. So when they released their latest commercial, it came as a breath of fresh air for viewers long fed up with their earlier distasteful ad campaigns.

The ad stresses that you don’t need to have those ‘model’ looks to be a winner. It is you who decides what your USP should be - be it brains, looks, talent or simply the right attitude. Their campaign #FindYourMagic has shown how to sell a product without limting its audiences to stereotypical categories.

Let’s hope other men’s lifestyle brand take cue and come up with similar advertising campaigns that reflect the changing times.
