One woman decided to fulfill her dream of marrying her love despite his death in a one-of-a-kind marriage ceremony performed at his funeral. Nan Thippharat, from Chachoengsao province, wed her fiancé, Fiat, after he died of a sudden heart attack.
Nan even posted pictures of their nuptials on her social media page, which were later widely shared on the internet, according to the Daily Mail. She wrote on social media that her ‘dream’ of getting married to her beloved had finally turned true. Fiat’s death was a huge shock to his loved ones as he had shown no visible symptoms of any illness before his fatal heart attack.
However, the touching marriage ceremony that took place in the district of Phanom Sarakham in central Thailand’s Chachoengsao province was not officially recognised by the law.
