When Tollywood got together for Chennai's flood-affected victims

In a noble gesture, an award ceremony was earlier postponed in the wake of Chennai floods.

The much-awaited International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) days are here again. The rehearsal for the two-day (January 24 and 25) IIFA Award ceremony, which will conclude on Monday, has been going on since the past week, with actors Shriya Saran, Taapsee Pannu, Ram Charan, Tamannaah and Akhil Akkineni among others in attendance.

The actors are very enthusiastically awaiting their performance. “I am eagerly looking forward to my performance, which is an entertaining act packed with blockbusters and will surely be a hit with all my fans,” says Ram Charan.

As the photos reveal, Tamannaah will also be a part of his performance.
For Shriya Saran, IIFA is nostalgic.

“I had attended IIFA long ago when I made my debut. I had also performed that year. I am happy that IIFA is now celebrating cinema in the South and bringing all the actors together.”

Priyamani adds, “We are here to show our solidarity to Chennai and I am really looking forward to the event.” In a noble gesture, the event was earlier postponed in the wake of Chennai floods.
