Murugadoss' tips were very helpful: Kumar Nagendra
Director Kumar Nagendra is all confident that his upcoming film Tuntari starring Nara Rohit and Latha Hegde will be a hit.
The movie, a remake of a Tamil film by A.R. Murugadoss, is currently in the post-production stage and is expected to hit screens next month.
The director, who debuted with the hit movie Gundello Godari, had unexpected moments at Chennai, where he went to purchase the remake rights. The producer, who liked Gundello Godari very much, introduced him to Murugadoss.
“One day, Murugadoss called me and offered me some tips while remaking the movie. Later, I went and met him. His tips helped shape up the movie very well,” Kumar says.
Murugadoss had actually suggested a few changes to the Telugu version, which Kumar accepted with joy. “He is such a big director; it’s a great honour to know his ideas and views,” adds Kumar.
Kumar also calls Nara Rohit a director’s actor, who never interferes with anything. “He blindly follows the script and never suggests any change while shooting,” says Kumar.
