Samsung Launches Galaxy S25 Edge With Snapdragon 8 Elite Chipset, 200MP Camera.
Samsung has unveiled its "slim" smartphone, the Galaxy S25 Edge, the latest addition to the Galaxy S25 series.
The Galaxy S25 Edge is 5.8 millimeters thick and weighs 163 grams. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon E Elite chipset, which is also featured in other models in the Galaxy S25 lineup.
The flagship device boasts a 6.7-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2.
The smartphone sports a dual-camera setup: a 200MP main camera, which is said to offer over 40% improved brightness in low-light environments, and a 12MP ultra-wide camera, which features autofocus and macro photography.
On the front, it includes a 12MP selfie camera. The phone is equipped with a 3,900mAh battery.
The Galaxy S25 Edge comes with 12GB of RAM and will be available in two storage variants: 256GB and 512GB. It will be offered in three color options: Titanium Silver, Titanium Jet Black and Titanium Icy Blue.
Pre-orders in India will begin at 2 PM on May 13. While Samsung has not yet revealed the Indian pricing, in the US, the base variant is priced at $1,099 (approximately ₹93,289). The device will be priced between the Galaxy S25 Plus and S25 Ultra.
