Reddit Restores Services After Global Outage Affects Over 1.4 Lakh Users

Social media platform Reddit on Thursday said that its services have been restored after a global outage on Wednesday, affecting over 1 lakh users.

According to outage tracking website Downdetector, over 1.4 lakh users globally reported issues with Reddit on Wednesday.

The social media platform on its status page said that the incident has been resolved after an investigation into elevated site errors.

47 percent of users reported issues with the app, while 38 percent experienced issues with the website, according to Downdetector.

Reddit had earlier experienced an outage in June, affecting over 30,000 users worldwide.
