The POCO F1 is the most affordable smartphone to offer the flagship grade Snapdragon 845 chipset at an impressively low price. The smartphone, which was launched back in August, has now started receiving closed Android Pie beta software update. The smartphone currently runs on MIUI 9.6 out-of-the-box and is all set to get the MIUI 10 Global Stable ROM update soon. The update comes with the build number MIUI 10 8.10.30.
Besides, Jai Mani, POCO Head, recently confirmed that the smartphone will at least be getting Android Pie and Android Q update. So, the stable version of the Android 9 Pie is expected to be rolled out to the POCO F1 by the end of the year.
To recall, the POCO F1 features a 6.18-inch IPS LCD notched display and is powered a Snapdragon 845 SoC along with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB of internal storage. There are a 12MP+5MP dual rear camera setup and a 20MP selfie camera. The rear camera setup also offers features such as 4K video recording, Slow Motion Video, Portrait mode, and HDR. It is backed by a 4000mAh battery with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+. The starting price of the smartphone is Rs 20,999.
