These days, dual camera on your smartphone is ‘the’ trend that every smartphone manufacturer needs to follow for staying alive in the market. Whether it’s a $1000 flagship or a bang-for-buck mid-ranger, a dual camera setup is what the modern smartphone consumer looks for in smartphone from this year. Samsung made a late entry into this club with the Note 8 and it looks that they have got the technology right for rolling it out to their affordable J-series phones, particularly the J7 mid-range smartphone.
A Weibo post shows the rumoured Samsung Galaxy J7 Plus in all its glory with the dual camera setup lodged at the back. The smartphone is claimed to house a 5.5-inch 1080p AMOLED display, 2.4 GHz octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, and 3000 mAh battery. These are specifications that are typical of a mid-range smartphone lineup in 2017.
The J7 Plus also seems to be sporting the Always-On display along with the latest Samsung Experience UI. The device bears a look very similar to the recently launched J7 Pro, which is arguably a very premium-looking device. The J7 Plus will be an addition to the large J7 family of Galaxy J7, Galaxy J7 Nxt, Galaxy J7 Prime, Galaxy J7 Max and Galaxy J7 Pro. This smartphone, if launched in India, will compete with the likes of Moto G5S Plus and the upcoming dual camera smartphone from Xiaomi.
