Google earlier this month, confirmed the Asus Zenfone AR to arrive sometime this summer. However, there hasn’t been any updates ever since. A new online report claims that the smartphone will be available for purchase by mid-June in Taiwan and by July in US.
To recall, the Asus Zenfone AR is the second smartphone after Lenovo Phab 2 to carry Google’s Tango and support Google Daydream VR. The smartphone features a 5.7-inch WQHD Super AMOLED display with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 processor. The device offers 8GB of RAM and comes in storage options ranging between 32GB and 256GB.
On the camera front, the smartphone packs a 23MP Sony IMX318 rear camera along with a 8MP front shooter. The device is backed a 3,300mAh battery and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat.
The smartphone further supports Hi-Res Audio, DTS virtual surround sound, and a 5-magnet speaker....
