Nubia working on a Xiaomi Mi Mix rival?
Xiaomi recently unveiled its Mi Mix bezel-less smartphone, taking the market by a surprise. This launch was soon followed by leaks of Meizu as well, suggesting that the company was working on a bezel-less design too. Now reports published by MyDrivers suggest that an unnamed Nubia-branded device features a bezel-less display and further packs an unconventional slider design.
The pictures showcase the Nubia smartphone with a bezel-less display with a black strip for the chin, bottom and front. A front camera feature is however, visibly lacking. Another picture shows that both earpiece and front facing camera are hidden behind the display at the top. Users can answer calls by simply sliding the device to open. The same applies if the user wishes to take a selfie.
Additionally, Nubia has added some unique customisations to the back cover using different materials like leather, wood and metal finishes.
These leaked images currently appear to be a mere speculation with no official confirmation given by the company.
