Blu unveils Pure XR with 3D Touch display
US based smartphone company, Blu has launched its new Pure XR smartphone. The highlight of the smartphone is the 3D touch display, which was previously seen on the iPhone 6s.
Specification wise, the smartphone comes with a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a pixel density of 401ppi. The screen is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It has a MediaTek Helio P10 MT6755 octa-core processor at its heart backed by Mali-T860 graphics GPU and 4GB of RAM.
The smartphone sports a 16MP rear camera with 6P lens and laser focus and LED flash. For selfies the device has an 8MP front facing camera and offers 64GB of internal storage.
Connectivity options on the device include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth v4.0, and NextRadio. The smartphone draws its power from a 3000mAh battery that claims to deliver up to 20 days of standby time on one Quick Charge. Blu claims that 10 minutes of Quick Charge enables the device for 1 hour of talk time.
The company is yet to announce the availability of the device for markets outside the US. The unlocked smartphone can be availed on Amazon and Best Buy for $299.99.
