Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak upset over jack-less iPhone move
Apple’s co-founder Steve Wozniak has warned the company after he was upset over Apple’s decision on removing the headphone jack from the next iPhone. In an interview to the Australian Financial Review, Steve said that Apple’s jack-less iPhone move will upset a lot of people.
A lot of rumours are circulating over Apple’s next iPhone being thinner because they managed to eliminate the 3.5mm headphone jack. The new iPhone could force users to adopt Bluetooth headphones since connecting a regular pair of headphones via the Lightning connector would require an additional adapter to be tagged along. Carrying around an additional adapter could be troublesome and Bluetooth does not offer good music experience.
Wozniak warns: "I would not use Bluetooth ... I don't like wireless. I have cars where you can plug in the music, or go through Bluetooth, and Bluetooth just sounds so flat for the same music."
Apple is speculated to launch the next flagship in September and rumours surrounding the next iOS device are far too many. From the missing headphone jack to a dual-camera setup, the rumours and concepts built around iPhone 2016 seems to attract more of what users demand rather than what Apple has to offer. Come September, Apple will announce its final plans and unveil the most-awaited and highly speculated iPhone flagship for 2016.
