Moto's has two new smartphones, prices start at Rs 12,000
Motorola is in plans to announce a couple of smartphones this year which includes the Moto E4 and Moto E4 Plus. However, the specs and pricing and the release date for the former were recently disclosed by Roland Quandt, revealing everything about the upcoming phone.
The Moto E4 is slated to hit shelves on July 17 with a price tag of around $185, making this phone quite affordable to consumers. The full specifications were recently leaked which pointed towards a 5.0-inch display with 720x1280 pixel resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top.
The smartphone will be an entry-level and will come with 2GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, expandable up to 128GB by using a microSD. Also, the smartphone is tipped to run a quad-core MediaTek MT6737M clocked at 1.25GHz and coupled with Mali-T720MP2 GPU. The smartphone is slated to run Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box.
Camera department is decent with the primary unit at 8MP with autofocus and LED flash. The secondary is a 5MP front camera. Battery capacity is 2800mAh removable unit.
The E4 Plus will have a larger battery size of 5000mAh and display size of 5.5-inches but with the same resolution as its smaller sibling. In addition, it will be wider and taller than the Moto E4. The Plus variant is projected to have a RAM capacity of 3GB while internal storage will be at 16GB.
Camera capacity is a bigger 13MP primary unit while the front camera is the same as the E4 with 5MP. The price is a tad higher at $207. However, until the two phones are revealed officially, Motorola is expected to announce the Moto Z2 Play this Thursday.
