Huawei launches Honor 5C with FHD display, Kirin 650 chipset for Rs 9,300

The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with a layer of Huawei's EMUI 4.1 on top of it.

Mumbai: Huawei launches its latest Honor 5C smartphone in China, priced at CNY 899 (Rs 9,300 approx).

With a 5.2-inch display, the Honor 5C features a metal body with fingerprint reader. It is powered by an octa-core Kirin 650 chipset with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 128GB using a microSD card.

The Honor 5S sports a 13MP camera, which is assisted by a dual LED flash, along with an 8MP front camera with a 77 degree wide-angle.

On the connectivity front, the smartphone features 4G LTE with VoLTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.1 and a micro USB 2.0 port. Running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with Huawei’s EMUI 4.1 layered on it, a 3,000 mAh battery juices the device.

In China, the Honor 5C will go on sales next week, however nothing has been said yet regarding its availability in India.
