Realme U1 with 25MP selfie camera, 6.3-inch display launched
Realme launched the Realme 2 Pro and the Realme C1 back in September this year, and now, the company has shown off its Realme U1 smartphone in India under its U-Series.
Under the hood, the Realme U1 is the first smartphone to run on the brand new MediaTek Helio P70 chipset, paired with ARM G72 GPU. It runs on ColorOS 5.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. The smartphone features a 6.3-inch full HD+ display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 90.8 per cent of screen-to-body ratio. The device comes with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable up to 256GB. It is powered by a 3500mAh battery.
The Realme U1 sports a dual rear camera setup, consisting of a 13MP f/2.2 sensor and a 2MP f/2.4 sensor, accompanied by a LED flash. The smartphone also offers features such as Slo-Mo video recording up to 90fps, AI Scene Detection, Portrait Lighting, and Bokeh effect. There is a 25MP Sony sensor for shooting selfies with an f/2.0 aperture, 1.8-micron pixels, and 4-in-1 pixels tech. The camera app is also equipped with Backlight mode and AI Beauty+ mode.
On the connectivity front, the handset includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, micro-USB port with OTG support, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The handset comes with an AI-based Face Unlock system and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The device comes in Ambitious Black, Brave Blue, and Fiery Gold colour variants.
The Realme U1 is priced at Rs 11,999 for the 3GB RAM variant and Rs 14,499 for the 4GB RAM variant. It will be available for purchase exclusively via Amazon on December 5 from 12 PM.
