According to a new update, Apple’s most expensive smartphone is now advancing at the maximum pace. As before Apple was finding difficult to produce the smartphone, which resulted in a limited number of units being made available to users. But that did not affect the demand. It is also believed that majority of Apple suppliers have faced production problem.
According to popular Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, production of the iPhone X has now improved, resulting in better shipment estimates now. The reason behind the production of the iPhone X being scarce was because of limited components availability. Especially, Apple’s supply chain partners were unable to provide LTE antenna components.
He says only limited yields of the dot projector module that belongs to TrueDepth camera were available. In addition to that, he clarified that the FaceID module production is now stable.
The analyst also said that shorter shipping times are a result of Apple increasing its production of the device.
Kuo says that as the things have improved significantly, no more obstacles will pop up when the year 2018 starts as some of the orders that were estimated to be completed by next year will ship this year.
