Huawei brings Honor 8 for Indian market

The smartphone was launched earlier in July 2016, in China.

Huawei has launched its Honor 8 smartphone for the Indian market. The company is yet to announce the price and availability of the device, but is expected to hit the markets soon. The device was launched earlier in July 2016, in China.

It comes with a 5.2-inch touchscreen display with 1080 pixels by 1920 pixel resolution and 423ppi. The smartphone is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core Kirin 950 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.

The phone packs 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Huawei Honor 8 packs a dual camera setup with 12MP rear cameras and an 8MP front shooter for selfies.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM, 3G, 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, and Gyroscope. It is juiced by a 3000mAh non removable battery.
