Xiaomi Mi Note 2 tipped to feature a dual curved display
Chinese smartphone giant, Xiaomi is reportedly gearing up to launch the second generation of its Mi Note smartphone. Recent online leaked images indicate the integration of a dual cured display, just like Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.
According to GizmoChina, the upcoming smartphone will sport a 5.5 inch OLED screen with one variant featuring a 2K display, while the other one packing in a 1080p display. It is also expected to feature a fingerprint sensor which will be integrated in the home button.
The smartphone is tipped to be powered by a Snapdragon 821 processor backed by 6GB RAM. The smartphone will have a similar design to Xiaomi’s Mi 5. Few online reports claim that the device will go on sale officially on September 5.
The leaked images of the Mi Note 2 reveal a dual camera setup and a metal unibody design. Reports also suggest that the 4GB variant with 64GB storage can be priced at $375, while the 6GB/128GB variant price could reach $405.
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 looks powerful in terms of specification, but users will have to wait until the company makes an official announcement about the smartphone.
