Samsung Galaxy Tab A2 XL detailed specifications leaked

Starting with the display, the device will incorporate a 10.5-inch LCD display supported with 1920x1200p resolution.

The bezels are getting chopped down and home button seems to be vanishing on Samsung devices. While that was only applicable for smartphones, even the upcoming tablets from the South Korean manufacturer are expected to follow the same design language. Many prospective buyers are awaiting the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 which is its flagship device. However, recent reports reveal that the Galaxy Tab A2 XL will follow the footsteps of its flagship sibling and will get partly deprived of the bezels and Home key.

More details about the Galaxy Tab A2 XL have surfaced online now, thanks to sources of SamMobile, which reveal more specs about Samsung's mid-range tablet.

Starting with the display, the device will incorporate a 10.5-inch LCD display supported with 1920x1200p resolution. Photo capturing duties will be handled by an 8MP sensor at the back and 5MP sensor on the front. Running the Android 8.1 Oreo software, the Tab A2 XL will incorporate the octa-core Snapdragon 450 SoC. Multi-tasking will be handled by a 3GB RAM in unison with the 32GB in-built storage. The whole assembly will be kept alive with the help of a massive 7,300 mAh battery.

As for the security of users, unlike Samsung's flagships, this device will neither come with iris scanner nor with the fingerprint sensor. Apart from the conventional pin and password security, facial recognition is expected to be incorporated for keeping it securely locked. Earlier, a Bixby button was also speculated for the Samsung tabs but there' isn't any surety in that regard. The device is expected to get introduced shortly along side the flagship Samsung Galaxy Tab S4.
