Samsung Galaxy Note 9 to shoot longer slo-mo videos than Galaxy S9

In the recent past, Samsung has been teasing the Galaxy Note 9’s capabilities and they have highlighted its 4000mAh battery, the device’s speed, and lastly its ample storage space. Apart from this, various other leaks have surfaced such as the Bluetooth-enabled S Pen, and a screen size that’s bigger than the one found on the S9+. The latest rumour comes via a tweet which claims that the upcoming Note 9 will have super slow motion video recording at 960fps for 0.4 seconds, 0.2 seconds longer than that of the Galaxy S9.

So from this tweet, we can gather that the Galaxy Note 9 will come with an improved Super Slow Motion camera that will be able to capture videos at 960fps for 0.4 seconds, which is twice as long as the slo-mo video recording capabilities of the Galaxy S9. Earlier this year, Samsung introduced this slow-motion video recording, and with a later software update, the S9 was able to capture 480fps video recording for up to 0.4 seconds. With the launch of the Galaxy Note 9, this limitation will be attached to 960fps. So, we can assume that the 480fps recording on the upcoming Note 9 will be for longer than 0.4 seconds.

It is believed that the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will be equipped with a dual-rear camera setup that will be produced by either Samsung or Sony as the South Korean brand does not have the production capacity to mass produce enough imaging sensors for its handsets, a report by AndroidHeadlines states.

As of now, nothing is quite official and more will be known on August 9, when Samsung unveils the handset.
