Xiaomi's new series could be Pocophone with cheapest SD845-powered model

The prime USP of the phone is expected to be the usage of Snapdragon 845 chipset and it's speculated pricing of 420 Euros (Rs 33,641).

Xiomi has been enjoying commendable success with its Redmi and Mi series smartphones. The feature-loaded models with affordable pricetags have fetched a lot of attention and a staggering number of customers across the country. However, the Chinese brand doesn't seem to stop just yet as it is highly likely to introduce a new series of smartphones - Pocophone, which is expected to come to India along with other global markets.

If MySmartPrice's exclusive report is to be believed, the first phone smartphone model to come bearing the new brand name will be the F1. The confirmation of its arrival came in when the company filed the European community trademark registration on May 23. Moreover, it also got through the process of NCC certification as well as FCC certification.

Along with the features which the Pocophone F1 will be offering, the prime USP of the phone is expected to be the usage of Snapdragon 845 chipset and it's speculated pricing of 420 Euros (Rs 33,641). If that ends up to be true, the Pocophone F1 will be the cheapest smartphone utilising that behemoth chipset.

Various reports flowing around the internet have revealed other prospective details about the phone as well. The Pocophone F1 will come with a 5.99-inch IPS LCD display with full HD+ resolution. Boasting the 19:9 aspect ratio, it could also house the trendy notch on the top of the display panel. Out of the box, the phone will run the Android 8.1 Oreo-based MIUI 9 operating system.

While the comprehensive details about the cameras are scarce, it has been confirmed that the F1 will be equipped with vertically-stacked dual rear cameras. The information about the front camera sensor is slim. The whole assembly is expected to be backed by a hefty 4000 mAh battery which could be supported by fast charging. Offering a 6 RAM, it will perhaps come with the options of 64GB and 128GB variants.

No concrete details about the arrival of the Pocophone F1 have been acquired but considering the fact it already obtained the necessary certifications, we could see the smartphone soon coming to our shores along with other countries.
