Realme 2 Pro launched with Snapdragon 660 SoC, starting at Rs 13,990

The Realme 2 Pro comes with Dewdrop-styled notched display, Snapdragon 660 chipset, dual rear cameras, and much more at a budget price.

Realme, the online-only brand owned by OPPO, recently launched its Realme 2 smartphone in India and now the company has launched its latest Realme 2 Pro smartphone with Dewdrop-styled notched display, Snapdragon 660 chipset, dual rear camera setup and much more at an affordable price.

The smartphone features a large 6.3-inch FHD+ screen with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio with a 90.8 per cent screen-to-body ratio. At its core, as mentioned, the device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 660 AIE chipset along with an Adreno 512 GPU. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo, with OPPO’s ColorOS on top. The device offers up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable up to 256GB. The Realme 2 Pro is backed by a 3500mAh battery.

On the imaging duties, the handset packs a 16MP+16MP f/1.7 dual rear cameras with Sony sensors. There is a 16MP f/2.0 front shooter with AI Beauty 2.0. The smartphone's camera app also offers several AI features for Portrait mode, multi-frame noise reduction, and scene recognition. On the connectivity front, the device includes USB OTG, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G VoLTE, GPS among others. The smartphone is equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. It will be available in three colour options such as Black Sea, Blue Ocean, and Ice Lake.

The smartphone will go on sale exclusively via Flipkart on October 11. As for the pricing, the Realme 2 Pro costs Rs 13,990 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, Rs 15,990 for the 6GB/64GB configuration and Rs 17,990 for the 8GB/128GB configuration.
