OPPO's smartphone to be the first with 10GB RAM

Rumours had it that the Vivo Xplay 7 will be housing such a large RAM under the hood, but that never made it to reality.

It was in January that we were first made familiar with the memory of 10GB RAM in smartphones which was expected from Vivo. Rumours had it that the Vivo Xplay 7 will be housing such a large RAM under the hood, but that never made it to reality. Latest reports are now suggesting that OPPO will be the first brand to introduce it on the company’s flagship Find X handset.

Going by the latest picture on Twitter posted by Ice universe, the OPPO Find X model with the behemoth 10GB RAM has been listed on TENAA. The organisation based in China approves smartphone models before they go on sale in the market. According to the specification sheet listed on TENAA, OPPO will be bringing in a new variant of the Find X with the largest RAM and 256GB onboard memory.

Currently, the flagship offering from the Chinese smartphone manufacturer gets a single option of 8GB RAM (which is impressive, anyways) along with options of 128GB and 256GB internal memory. OPPO Find X created a lot of hype across the globe owing to its bezel-less curved display and pop camera mechanism. It flaunts a 6.42-inch AMOLED screen with 2340 x 1080 resolution.

For clicking pictures, it comes with dual cameras including 16MP and 20MP sensors accompanied by a 25MP front camera which also acts as the facial scanner for unlocking the smartphone. Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 chipset, the OPPO Find X runs the Android 8.1 Oreo.
