Xiaomi\'s Mi A3 goes on sale today: All you need to know

The smartphone will be available for retail on Mi online portal, Amazon and Mi Home store.

Xiaomi’s Mi A3 handset goes on sale today, a week after it was launched. Priced at 12,999 and 15,999 for its two 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB, the phone shall go live on sale today at 12 noon and will be available on Mi online portal, Amazon and Mi Home store.

The latest in it’s A series, the Android One smartphone shall have a triple camera set up at the back. More significantly, one of the sensors is 48MP with a f/1.79 aperture. The two other sensors will be 8MP ultra-wide fixed focus lens of 118-degree field of view (FoV) and the other a 2MP depth sensor. On the front is a 32 MP Selfie camera, which can even be used for face unlocking.

Apart from a waterdrop notch for the front camera, the phone’s 6.088-inch dot-drop display runs uninterrupted and also built in finger print sensor. An AMOLED screen it is a HD+ one, a step down from the Mi A2’s full HD+ screen resolution, made of Corning Gorilla glass 5.

A curved metallic body, it is also covered with the same glass at the back and is available in three colours- ‘More than White’, ‘Not just Blue’, and ‘Kind of Grey’. A 3.5 mm port for earphones and a USB type-C port is also available. Inside the phone has Snapdragon 665 octa-core processor which goes upto 2 GHZ.

The phone supports 18 W fast charging and comes with a 4,030 mAh battery. XIaomi has also claimed that its handset is splash-proof.
