Meizu launches smartphones with Super AMOLED display on rear panel too
Meizu has officially taken the wraps off its much-talked-about Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus flagship Android-powered smartphones. The devices come in Black, Silver, Gold and Red variants with a Super AMOLED display on the back and many other exciting features.
As for the specifications, the Meizu Pro 7 packs a 5.2-inch display, while Pro 7 Plus packs a 5.7-inch display. The smartphones are powered by MediaTek’s latest Helio X30 10nm processor and offers 4GB of RAM along with 64GB of internal storage. The Pro 7 Plus in particular comes in a 6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB ROM variant as well. The smartphones sport two 12MP Sony IMX386 camera sensors along with a 16MP front shooter. On one hand, the Meizu Pro 7 packs a 3,000mAh battery, while the Pro 7 Plus packs a 3,500mAh battery and both the devices run on Android 7.0 Nougat topped with Meizu’s Flyme OS. The primary attraction of these devices is that they sport a second screen on the rear end that can be utilised to display things like notifications, weather, time, music and more.
The Meizu Pro 7 is will cost approximately $430, while the Pro 7 Plus will run for around $530. Both phones will go on sale in China on August 5th, but no release information for other countries has been announced yet.
