The LAVA has launched its first 4G-enabled tablet, the Ivory S 4G, in Delhi, and priced it at Rs 8,799.
The Ivory S 4G features a 7-inch HD display screen with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and is built using Cortex A53 Quad Core 1GHz processor coupled with 1GB of DDR3 RAM. It also features three different 4G bands, FDD Band, FDD Band 5 and TDD Band 40. The device also supports GSM900, 1800MHz, HSPA and offers dual-SIM slots. In terms of storage, the device features 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded to 32GB via a micro SD card.
The tablet is fuelled by a 3,000mAh battery and runs Android Lollipop 5.1 operating system. The rear camera sports a 5MP sensor with auto-focus supported with an LED flash. The front camera has a 3.2MP sensor for selfies and also sports full HD 1080p video playback and recording.
LAVA offers a one year manufacturer warranty on the Ivory S 4G and a six month warranty for the battery, data cable and an USB cable. The tablet is aimed mainly towards 4G adoption in India.
