Nokia 3310 (2017) 3G variant spotted online
There have been reports about HMD Global launching the Nokia 8 next month, while we are at it; a recent US FCC certification suggests that the company might also launch the 3G variant of the classic Nokia 3310 alongside the Nokia 8.
The Nokia 3310 was launched by HMD Global as a tribute to the iconic model. The re-launched variant comes with 2G connectivity, which is barely supported in major markets. This is perhaps the reason HMD Global is working on a 3G variant of the device. The certification was first spotted by NokiaPowerUser which hints at a 3G Nokia 3310 (2017) going by the height and width.
The certification also reveals the 2G/3G bands that it will support in the United States of America:
GSM850: 824.2 MHz - 848.8 MHz
GSM1900: 1850.2 MHz - 1909.8 MHz
WCDMA Band II: 1852.4 MHz - 1907.6 MHz
WCDMA Band V: 826.4 MHz - 846.6 MHz
