OnePlus confirms to launch OnePlus 3T in India on Dec 2
OnePlus is launching its latest release OnePlus 3T in India on December 2. OnePlus India General Manager Vikas Agarwal announced the release date on Twitter today.
OnePlus 3T was unveiled on November 15 as a successor to its OnePlus 3 smartphone with a few upgrades, which includes Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC, 16MP front camera, 64GB/128GB internal storage, 3400mAh battery.
OnePlus confirmed the launch date of OnePlus 3T for the US and Europe market to be November 22 and November 26 respectively, but never revealed any information on its launch for the Indian market. Although, the company is teasing about it launch in India it still hasn’t provided any specific date for the launch.
On the hardware front, the OnePlus 3T runs off a 2.35GHz Snapdragon 821, with 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and 4G LTE support. On the software front, OnePlus announced a refined version of its OxygenOS build to run Android 7.0 Nougat atop. The company confirmed the new version will be rolled out to both OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T by the end of this year.
OnePlus 3T features a 5.5-inch full HD (1080X1920) Optic AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The smartphone weighs same as the OnePlus 3 at 158g and measures 15.27x74.7x7.35mm.
OnePlus 3T will be available in Gunmetal and Soft Gold colours. The Chinese smartphone maker hasn’t revealed the price of the smartphone yet. However, based on its pricing details for the US market the 64GB variant will be available at a price of $438 (approx. Rs 30,000), while the 128GB model has been priced at $479 (approx. Rs 32,500).
