Apple exclusive suddenly confirms new iPhones

The iPhone 11 series of handsets have been confirmed and they will come with features that have been leaking in recent months.

The upcoming Apple iPhones are going to be the company’s most disappointing handsets in recent years especially when you think of all the massive upgrades that will come fitted in the 2020 iPhones. However, if you have been putting off buying an iPhone for some time and eager to purchase the 2019 iPhone, then the latest leak has confirmed some of the main features that will come as a part of it.

In an exclusive report, 9to5Mac has just confirmed that Apple will launch three new iPhones this year and they have also detailed some of its standout features. Some of which aren’t that pleasing.

As per the report, people who have seen the 2019 iPhone 11 lineup have revealed that the model numbers that will replace the iPhone XS (D42, reference iPhone12,3 in iOS code), iPhone XS Max (D43, iPhone12,5) and iPhone XR (N104, iPhone12,1). As of now, the final names of these devices remain a mystery; however, all three upcoming iPhones will sport the same resolution as their predecessors with the D42 and D43 retaining the OLED display while the N104 will come with an LCD panel.

The report also revealed some details about the hardware inside the upcoming iPhones. The Apple A13 chipset will be featured here in all three iPhones and has been codenamed Cebu and it will feature the model number T8030. The Apple A13 chipset will also bear the weight of some new camera technology called Smart Frame. This feature has the ability to record information outside the camera’s framing which allows misaligned shots to be saved without re-cropping later on. Each and every photo will contain this extra bit of valuable information and Apple will discard it later on automatically if now edits are made to an image within a certain period of time.

The iPhone 11 has received polarizing opinions the world over for its rumoured ugly square camera hump. Unfortunately for those who hate it, this feature has been confirmed and there will be a new triple camera configuration on the rear of the D42 and D43 with the third sensor being a wide-angle lens.

The report claims that Apple has cancelled 3D Touch and Apple will replace it with something known as ‘leap haptics.’ Details about this new feature are scarce but it will come with a new Taptic Engine.

Lastly, for those hoping that Apple will finally shift to USB Type-C on its next iPhones, you will be sorely disappointed as at least for a generation more, Apple will stick with the Lightning connector.
