Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro launched in India
It seems like Samsung is on a roll. After launching Samsung Galaxy J2 earlier this month, they have come up with another one but this time it’s the Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro. It has been priced at Rs 9,890 and will be available for sale on Snapdeal from Tuesday onwards.
The device comes in variants of black, silver and gold and sports a smart glow notification light on the back panel of the camera lens. There’s more! The Galaxy J2 Pro also sports 2GB RAM and 16 GB of inbuilt storage. It supports an expandable storage via microSD card and comes with the company’s Turbo Speed Technology (TST). Samsung says this will help load apps up to 40 per cent faster.
More about the device:
The device is equipped with an 8mp rear camera and a 5 mp front facing camera. Adding to that is the aperture that is set at f/2.2. Other specifications of the Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro match with the Galaxy J2 (2016), including dual-SIM support (Micro-SIM and Micro-SIM), a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixel) Super Amoled display, 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 4G LTE connectivity, and a 2600mAh battery.
Primary attraction:
What’s unique about the Galaxy J2 Pro is that it features a Smart Glow LED-notification system which allows users to colour-code any contact, app or phone usage alert. This feature can be activated from the Quick panel and can be utilized for three different ways, including Priority alerts, Usage alerts and Selfie Assist.
Manu Sharma, Vice President, Mobile Business, Samsung India, said, ‘Samsung is constantly in the pursuit of bringing meaningful innovation to consumers. The Galaxy J2 Pro with Turbo Speed Technology is designed to provide superior device performance. Furthermore, the Smart Glow feature is an industry first that not only enables automatic rear camera selfies but also provides a fresh new design element and a host of other utility features.’
