Samsung Galaxy Fold problems won’t impact Galaxy Note 10 launch
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 is shaping up to be one of the hottest handsets of the year and it is rumoured to come with specifications that will supersede its rivals at least for this generation. The Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Pro are expected to debut in August and a Samsung official has recently confirmed that its timeline is on schedule and won’t be impacted by the delays faced by the brand’s other flagship, the Galaxy Fold.
As per a report by PocketNow, the Samsung official states, “The Galaxy Note 10 will have its own timeline for its debut in August, regardless of the Galaxy Fold’s launch schedule. The company keeps the same stance about the Galaxy Fold’s schedule.”
Apart from providing further evidence that the Galaxy Note 10 will in fact launch in August, the official did not divulge any information regarding the arrival of the Galaxy Fold.
Previous reports suggested that the Galaxy Fold’s re-launch date was set for late-July and this was a reason for the Galaxy Note 10 debut to be pushed back a bit. The report goes on to add, “There were also rumours that the two will share the stage when the time comes but, as of today, things appear to be more certain for the Note10 than they are for the Galaxy Fold.”
Speaking about the Galaxy Fold, Samsung Display VP Kim Seong-cheol had stated, “Most of the display problems have been ironed out, and the Galaxy Fold is ready to hit the market.” He also went on to add that when the handset will release, it will receive a lot of attention in the market. However, with all these details keeping the Galaxy Fold relevant, there is still no official launch date for the product.
Reports suggest that the Galaxy Fold will have its own launch event sometime in July or it will share the stage with the Galaxy Note 10 that’s rumoured to be announced on August 7 at the Galaxy Unpacked event.
