Google once again fails to keep Pixel 3a under wraps

The handset along with the Pixel 3a XL will be officially unveiled on May 7.

Prior to the launch of the Google Pixel 3 last year, the handset was featured numerous leaks. The handset was spotted in hands all over the globe and now it seems that Google is failing to keep the lite version of the handset, the Pixel 3a under wraps.

Popular smartphone tipster Evan Blass aka @evleaks has recently shared an official render of the Pixel 3a, giving us a look at the final design ahead of its May 7 launch.

Prior to this leak, a hands-on video had surfaced of the Pixel 3a had surfaced. Later on, case renders of the handset also made an appearance. While those leaks showed off the device, nothing is quite as good as an official image leaking as it confirms previous leaks.

The upcoming Pixel 3a and 3a XL are expected to come with FHD+ displays and have 4GB of RAM. The Pixel 3a will feature a 5.6-inch display while the 3a XL will come with a 6-inch display. The handset will not boast stereo speakers but rather a bottom firing speaker. It is believed to come with a Snapdragon 670 chipset based on a 10nm design and as expected will run on Android 9 Pie.
