After receiving an overwhelming response for the Redmi Note 4, Xiaomi seems to be stepping out of the flash sale model by introducing pre-orders on company’s official portal Mi.com.
Customers can now pre-order the Redmi Note 4 starting March 31. Users will have to make the payment online after which the device will be shipped within five days, the company claims. The new sale model doesn’t offer cash on delivery service and only one smartphone can be pre-ordered at once.
The smartphone is expected to see a huge demand on the offline portal as well. Xiaomi shared the sales numbers of the device, having sold 1 million units in the country. The company is also expected to list the recently launched Redmi 4A, which sold 250,000 units within 4 minutes through Amazon and Mi.com.
As for the specifications, the Redmi Note 4 sports a 5.5-inch full-HD 2.5D curved glass IPS display with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC paired with 2GB/3GB/4GB variants. It comes equipped with a 13MP rear camera, while there is a 5MP front facing snapper also on board.
