Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship smartphone Mi 6 has been doing rounds in the rumour mill for quite some time now. And thanks to leaked renders we have an idea how the smartphone will look. While some renders hint a dual camera setup, a new rumour seems to list the price of the upcoming smartphone and its variants.
According to the technology news website GizChina, Xiaomi Mi 6 will be launched in 4GB RAM/32GB ROM, 4GB RAM/64GB ROM and 6GB RAM/128GB ROM variants priced at CNY 1,999 (approx Rs 19,000), CNY 2,299 (approx Rs 21,800) and CNY 2,699 (approx Rs. 25,600), respectively.
The Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus in turn allegedly features 4GB RAM/64GB ROM, 6GB RAM/128GB ROM and 8GB RAM/256GB ROM variants and will be priced at CNY 2,599 (approx Rs 24,700), CNY 2,999 (approx Rs 28,500) and CNY 3,499 (approx Rs 33,200), respectively.
As for the specifications, the Mi 6 is tipped to sport Quad HD 2K OLED display with dual curved edges just like Samsung’s S7 edge. It is also expected to feature a dual camera setup. Both the smartphone are likely to be powered by a Snapdragon 835 processors and will support Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 4.0 for fast charging. The bigger variant is expected to draw its power from a 4000mAh battery.
Consumers will have to wait for the company to an official announcement for confirmations. However if the pricing is true, it seems very competitive, which is expected from the company.
