Samsung clueless on Note 7 battery problem, could see Galaxy S8 delay

Samsung has already is offering Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge to Note 7 customers.

Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 battery issues witnessed in the last couple of months has put Samsung’s upcoming flagship smartphone Galaxy S8 at risk.

The Galaxy S8 is expected to be launched in February next year. However, the never ending investigation about the Galaxy Note 7 overheating problem seems to cause a delay in the development of Galaxy S8 by two weeks.

According to reports, the Korea-based tech giant is still struggling to find the actual reason behind Note 7 battery explosion, and engineers are continuously working to get to the bottom of the problem which resulted in Note 7’s fiasco.

Samsung has already scrapped the Note 7 project and is offering Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge to Note 7 customers, alongside preparing for the development of the new Galaxy S series flagship, the Galaxy S8.
