Alcatel has launched a 5-inch variant of its Pixi 4 smartphone at a price of Rs 4,999 and will be available exclusively on the e-commerce website Flipkart in four colour options.
The smartphone packs a 5-inch FWVGA display with 480 x 854 pixel resolution and is powered by a 1.1 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor paired with 1GB of RAM. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
It is equipped with an 8MP rear camera, while a 5MP front facing camera, both with flash modules installed. It has 8GB of internal storage capacity, which is further expandable up to 32GB using a microSD card.
On the connectivity front, the device offers 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and Micro-USB 2.0, among others. It is fuelled by a 2000mAh battery and the company also promises a powerful music experience with Arkamys optimized speakers.
