LG is expected to launch its upcoming flagship device – V40 ThinQ soon which, according to the press renders, will get five cameras – three at the rear and two on the front. The company had introduced two of its premium smartphones – G7 ThinQ and V35 ThinQ in May which couldn’t perform well in the market. For the same reason, LG must be mulling over gaining some good results from the V40 ThinQ.
Since the smartphone will be falling in the premium segment, it will have to compete with some potent rivals including iPhone X and Samsung Galaxy S9. Since these phones sport segment-leading cameras, LG needs to provide impressive snappers to fetch customers.
MySmartprice has obtained press renders of the LG V40 ThinQ which reveals a handful of details about the smartphone. Sporting slim bezels and curved screen edges, it appears to bear a tiny chin and an upper section which, as the source claims, consists of a notch which can be switched to full-screen. One can see a company logo at the rear along with the model name. The three rear cameras sit in-line horizontally, above the finger print sensor.
The LG V40 ThinQ is expected to come with a P-OLED display with two cameras and speaker on top. It looks to integrate a power key on the right side and the volume and toggle switch on the left, purpose of the latter is unclear. The press renders also flaunt the down-firing speaker, USB type-C port and 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom. It is highly likely that it will be powered by the Snapdragon 845 chipset and it will perhaps run the Android 9 Pie which is the most recent OS.
From the screen of the phone in the images, it could be clearly judged that the LG V40 ThinQ will be launched on November 16 but there might be changes in the launch schedule later....
